Welcome! Boomwire is me, J.J.Bloemer. I have been around Glass Blowing my whole life. As far back as I can remember, my Dad would have his torch fired up making anything from Christmas ornaments to gigantic ships that were unbelievable. He only used clear rods and by the time quality color became available his eyesight stopped his beautiful art in an amazing run that lasted almost 40 years in the art of Glass Blowing. So here I am with an amazing palette of color to work with and I'm having the time of my life! I started Boomwire 19 years ago just as a hobby and can't believe the response it's had. Thanks to everyone that have supported the art of Glass Blowing/Lampworking over the years!
